In-Studio Portrait Photography Session Celebrating Birthday Milestone

Hello everyone, thanks for visiting my blog where I showcase the recent sessions I have done. As a Houston Fine Portrait Photographer, one of which pays attention to glory details. I always love to look back to see what I could do better in a session. For me, each session is new and different, even if I am photographing the same returning client. I love to interact with my client to capture their most candid moment, freeze that moment to celebrate a milestone! When S's mommy called me, she says S is turning 6, he is at the age that will not be cooperative and sit still or even pose for a second. Due to their limited time schedule the family has, I recommend a half an hour In-Studio session, where I can focus just on S-- to document his terrific SIX!

In-Studio Session is perfect for someone who has limited time, is easy to be distracted and most importantly, free from the weather limitation. Living in Houston, the weather changes have become a major rescheduling factors in my shooting. Working inside a studio, we can shoot more flexibly and uninterruptedly. It is also easy to do the outfit changes or make-up touches.

When working with kids, I like to talk to them to find out what their dreams and interests are. For S, we used three outfits-- formal, classic and sports. S told me he wanted to be a Maths professor when he grew up which put a big grin on my face. We used simple props during the shooting. The flow was nice and smooth and I successfully kept him engaged.

Mom shouted with Joy when she saw the mini 3-inch accordion albums (2 copies). Shooting plus the 2 copies of the mini accordion albums is included in the price of $350.

Houston Newborn Photographer - Welcome Baby G!

As a Houston Family Photographer, I have to say my biggest passion is in New Born Photography! I had the pleasure of photographing this growing, beautiful family for the second time as they recently welcomed a new baby boy into the family, baby G!

It is an incredible experience to slow the time down, just watch and appreciate the sleeping newborn baby.  These time fly by so quickly that they soon will outgrow and won't fit just into mommy's arms. We hope these images remind each family members of the days when little baby G was truly brand new and so teeny tiny.

Love when Baby G wakes up and stares at my camera. He is so curious, calm and interesting! No fuss at all, he is just trying to figure out this whole new world he is in.

Houston Family Photographer - Fall Mini Session is here!!!

Fall is the time we reflect, observe, smile and harvest. As a Houston Family Photographer, LilyQ Photography offers you 2015 Fall Mini Session. It will give you a quick update of your child's latest look without too much of a investment. The time would be this October, the 10th and 11th, depend on the booking, will finalize the time slot to you as the time gets closer.

All you need to do is to put on her/his favorite costumes, grab that favorite bear or the doll, or any props that go with the theme and have a 20 minute date with me in a nearby park.

This organization is dedicated to raise money to fight with childhood cancer. Check out Liam's birthday bash at http://www.linkedwithliam.org/Events.html, it is this September 26th 3-7pm at Bridgeland park in Cypress. Liam was gone two years ago due to cancer, but his spirit and this foundation will continue to help building a world without childhood cancer.  Portion of my Fall mini session will contribute to this foundation.
